Deeply participate in the rendering pipeline design and key algorithm research of the graphics engine of the HarmonyOS to optimize performance, power consumption, and image quality.
Explore, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge technologies such as digital human rendering, AR/XR virtual-real convergence, computing visualization, and ray tracing based on mobile SoC/GPU.
Gain insights into cutting-edge technologies in academia and industry in the domain and provide insight analysis reports.
BSc, MSc or PhD student in field of computer science or related
Knowledge of C++ programming is a must. Understand graphics principles, know opengles.
Good command of spoken and written English. Other languages are seen as an advantage
Open-minded and active learning attitude
Preferentially if one of the following conditions is met:
Achievements in Math, Programming Talent Competitions or graphics related hackathons are considered as a plus
Previous experience in graphics rendering programming with C++ (Vulkan experience is considered as a plus)
Have a proficient command of rasterization, ray tracing, PBR, particle system, NN rendering, and GPU parallel computing.
Previous experience in mobile graphics-related projects.
Papers are published at CG summit meetings, such as SIGGRAPH.
Workplace: in one of our Research Centers in Finland: Helsinki or Tampere
Internship duration: 3 - 6 months, starting preferably in June/early July 2023. The position is possible to continue part-timely while your study.
