To strengthen our growing audit team, we are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Associate.

The Role

As a Senior Audit Associate, you will independently execute audit engagements and play a key role within the audit team. You will be responsible for coordinating fieldwork activities, reviewing work performed by junior team members, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable auditing standards.

You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients and contribute to delivering high-quality assurance services in a growing and dynamic economic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Independently perform and coordinate audit fieldwork

Prepare and review financial statements and audit documentation

Assist in planning audit engagements

Supervise and mentor junior associates

Identify audit risks and communicate findings to management

Apply IFRS and relevant auditing standards

Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting

Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience

Strong knowledge of IFRS

Experience with audit tools

Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)

Strong analytical and communication skills

Proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure
