Studying
Studying abroad
The various country pavilions can tell you all about universities, colleges for higher education, learning institutes and study centres in the international regions. They can help you find information about your choice of study, advanced training, career guidance, exchange programmes, study trips and any work experience required. The diploma accreditation institutes can also tell you if your diploma is valid abroad and whether you can continue your studies.
Information about the opportunities of a sabbatical or a world trip before restarting a study can also be found at the Emigration Expo.
Tip: troubled by homesickness?
Homesickness is an important and unforeseen killjoy in a study adventure abroad. Finding out beforehand if you will experience it is difficult. Good contact with the home front by social media such as Twitter, Skype, Facebook, Hyves or LinkedIn can help fight homesickness. It is however advisable to have a return trip plan for if you really can’t handle it.
